Welcome to Module 2: Telling Your Story
You will have completed your River of Life in the first self-led module. Through that exercise, you explored your ‘Why’ and your personal experiences that shaped your interest, or passion, towards the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion.
Now that you are clear on your purpose, the next step is to be able to communicate the case for change with impact. This module provides you with the tools to articulate the ‘Why’ on making inclusive change. You will be supported with flexing your communication style and narrative in order to influence with impact for different audiences.
Why this matters:
As a leader for diversity, equity and inclusion, telling your story with impact and authenticity is a powerful tool for you to influence and invite others to join in delivering inclusive change. Understanding your audience (and delivering the case for change in a way that is tailored to them) will support you with influencing a greater number of stakeholders to support the delivery of your goals and vision.
