Welcome to Module 3: Your Brand
In your last self-led module, we explored the power of being able to tell a compelling story in order to influence change. We looked at the ‘Head, Heart, Hand’ model to support you with articulating the case for change with purpose and impact, and to flex your messaging and style to maximise impact with different audiences.
Another key aspect of influencing as a leader of inclusive change is Your Brand and how others perceive you. In this self-led module, ‘Your Brand’, we will explore why your brand matters, what it currently looks like and how you might want your brand to evolve to better support you with influencing change.
Why this matters:
In order to make inclusive change, you will be influencing people.
People are humans, with varying assumptions, perceptions, thoughts and views. How others perceive you frames the context in which your messages are delivered. In order to influence effectively, it is crucial to gain an understanding of how others perceive you and make changes to this (if relevant) to deliver with maximum impact.
